Adam Kozlick
Adam Kozlick was born and raised in The Comox Valley on Vancouver Island. At age 7 Adam embarked on his artistic voyage, forming a two-man “rock band” with his childhood friend in which he played a suitcase with pencils while his friend played his electric guitar. In the following years this evolved into a real band (with a real drum-kit) and the boys, with the addition of a bass player of the same age, began playing at school assemblies and local parties.
Having fallen in love with music and performance, at age twelve Adam auditioned for the school musical and was given the role of a talking bear. The experience opened Adam’s eyes to his true passion. Since then he has committed himself to a life of involvement in theatre, musicals and improvisation. At age seventeen, Adam and his team brought home The Canadian Improv Games national gold medal. Following this Adam has led workshops with The Canadian Improv Games, and coached the G.P Vanier Junior Improv Team, who received the Vancouver Island gold medal in 2009. Outside of his theatrical pursuits, Adam continues to explore music. Adam has been a part of several bands as a pianist, vocalist and drummer and also performs solo with his piano. Adam plans to release a collection of his piano instrumental tracks titled Boy Uninterrupted sometime in the next year. Adam hopes to pursue a career as an actor in the film and musical theatre industries following his graduation from the Capilano University Acting for Stage and Screen Diploma Program in 2013. |
